Dieprood van kleur. In de geur tonen van zwart fruit en bramen, ook iets van zoete specerijen zoals kaneel en kruidnagel. In de smaak veel sap, krachtig en dik met wat tonen van de houtrijping en een fijne tannine structuur. Zeer geschikt om bij te eten.
