PietraPura Mandus Primitivo di Manduria

PietraPura Mandus Primitivo di Manduria comes from Puglia, which has a hot and dry climate. The Primitivo grapes in this wine were grown in the Manduria subregion, not far from the sea, where they develop even richer and deeper flavours. This wine therefore falls under the DOC Primitivo di Manduria classification. The vines are pruned in bush form - the Albarello method - and grow on the “terra rossa”; a red-coloured soil with limestone.

The wine is aged for four months in French oak. This is a wine with a great structure. It has an intense ruby red colour with violet reflections, broad aromas of ripe cherries and plums and pleasant notes of cocoa and vanilla. Serve at 16-18 °C with meat sauces, game and dry cheeses.
