Pairs well with meat dishes and perfect for special occasions. Ideally served at temperatures between 15 and 17 ºC.

L'Icnos is "the best work" of the Empordàlia winery, located between Pau and Vilajuïga, in Alt Empordà (Girona). It is a vintage red wine, made from the traditional varieties of the area: carinyena (or samsó) and garnatxa (or lledoner), from old vines, planted more than 70 years ago between Rabós and Garriguella. The Icnos vines grow on the llicorella coast. Icnos is the Greek word for 'footprint'. The wine is a tribute to the farmers of Empordàlia, men and women who have left and continue to leave their mark on the land and the wines, a combination of culture, history and tradition. The 2,600 numbered bottles of the year come in a wooden box.
