De oorsprong van Brouwerij Pühaste gaat terug tot het jaar 2011, toen Eero, de hoofdbrouwer,
zijn eerste ambachtelijke bieren maakte. Zijn proefbieren,
gebrouwen in het zomerhuisje in het dorp Pühaste in de provincie Valga, leverden goede kritieken op en besloot daarom van zijn hobby zn werk te maken
Pühaste opende op 10 september 2016 haar eigen brouwerij in Tartu.
