Bevog - Eira 2025

Creating barrel aged beers is a game of patience and reward. It was clear that something majestic is coming already when we brewed the base beer. Then this rich and thick imperial stout was laid to rest in our favourite bourbon barrels, to let time gently shape its depth and character. 

We were rewarded with a complex and dense beer, carrying layers of dark roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, and dry fruits that made our cellar masters smile. The beer from the very best barrels was blended, and infused with vanilla beans and chocolate nibs, 100% fair trade and from controlled organic cultivation: as always supplied from our local chocolate factory Zotter.

A magnificent beer with a deep, rounded chocolate presence, while the vanilla softens the edges and weaves sweetness and warmth through the natural intensity of the imperial stout. The bourbon ties everything together with notes of oak, caramel, and mellow whiskey.
