The canelé (or cannelé) is a traditional French pastry from Bordeaux with a soft custard center flavored with vanilla and rum, and a crispy caramelized crust. Vanilla being Rob’s favorite ingredient, we had to turn this delicious treat into a rich dark stout. By freeze-distilling it we intensified it’s rum, vanilla, and caramel flavor and created a beautiful 17% sipper. Best served at a temperature of 12 C.
